Once upon a time Kim Wimmer
Already as a little girl, Kim Wimmer enjoyed dressing her dolls and sewing them little dresses from old clothes. She grew up in Saigon, in a house near a small dressmaking shop, where she loved to spend her free time. When one of the seamstresses took a break, little Kim would sit in front of the machine, with a mechanical foot pedal, and practice directing the fabric and sewing. Having a great curiosity for sewing, watching the seamstresses put together the pieces of fabric to get a beautiful final piece, seemed like magic to her. And she didn't mind watching the embroiderer, painstakingly creating landscapes of threads.
When I was little I found myself, once, with the needle stuck in one of my fingers; I understood very early that sewing, is a craft that requires extreme concentration.
But although her curiosity for sewing began early on, Kim Wimmer had a background that did not, necessarily, predestine her to become a fashion designer. After studying design and digital marketing, she participated in the realization of prestigious projects and the creation of innovative products for several companies such as technical textile manufacturing and interior design. Thanks to these professional experiences acquired with Alsatian companies, she was able to develop her sense of aesthetics, rigor and excellence. After her marriage, she decided to continue her career by telecommuting to raise her child.
With the birth of her son, she realized that sewing was more than a passion for her. Without wasting any time, she thought about the details of her project and planned her next move. Determined and knowing what she wants, she then decided to learn the craft of fashion design and set about making her flourishing career change a reality.
For my son's birth, I sewed his layettes myself. This reminded me how much I love doing this. I then decided to give it a go!"
In two years, the young mom with a refined flair set up her network of collaborators and launched her eponymous ready-to-wear brand in 2021. She sets up her design studio in the Haut-Barr district of Saverne (Alsace, France) to be close to her eternal muse: nature and because this place, with its picturesque landscape, transmits a sense of disorientation essential to her creativity.
Today, she heads her eponymous house and designs luxury ready-to-wear collections and exceptional dresses for special occasions. She is poised to seduce a demanding French and international clientele in search of refinement and exclusivity.

According to the designer, the woman, by nature, is beautiful, free and plural. And growing up with an active mom, always chic and coquettish, only confirms her vision of femininity. Since launching her eponymous ready-to-wear brand, Kim Wimmer's day has resembled a pleasantly laborious run. It starts very early in the morning and ends late at night. For her, starting her company is like preparing for the arrival of a newborn baby. It started with an idea, then she worked hard to bring it to life, and now that it's born, she devotes time and energy to nurturing it, growing it and helping it flourish.
The designer knew very well that she was going to have to wear several hats: that of the artist, the entrepreneur and the mother. A daunting challenge that she bravely overcomes, thanks to the support of her loved ones. To stay productive and enjoy her day, Kim Wimmer has established a flexible but effective routine. Making time for her family is non-negotiable, because for her, family is the root and the beginning of everything. This approach gives her the strength to persevere in other areas of life without missing out.

She runs her business remotely, collaborating with a multicultural team. She devotes her mornings to design, material research, prototype and garment follow-up and meetings. In the afternoons, she takes care of orders and shipments. And in the evenings, she handles administrative tasks, writing and managing the online store.
Kim Wimmer is a committed, supportive, community-minded woman. And her generous approach does not miss its place in this professional adventure. She demands beautiful raw materials to make luxurious collections with French style, known worldwide for its refinement and finesse.
For the sake of the environment, she is constantly looking for innovative solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of her collections and her small quantity or pre-order production processes, make sure to fight against waste.

Her sweet youthful face and her sparkling eyes, hardly camouflage a strong personality that is not afraid of challenges. Today, she plans to expand her eponymous brand to other luxury ready-to-wear products, creating collections of exceptional dresses and gift collections. Her plans will always remain true to "French chic," which she considers an undeniable style stop.
The emeritus designer puts no limits on herself and seems open to any expansion that would benefit her brand's image and meet the aspirations of her distinguished clientele.
